The MAMIE Foundation aims to promote awareness, increase resources, and enhance agency of individuals and groups within local rural communities through campaigns, skills training and research on sustainable development.
MAMIE Foundation collaborates with Abayomi Farm Estate based in the Emerald Forest Reserve (EFR), a community-based forest conservation project in Ikoyi-Osun, Osun State, that has been working with the community to preserve indigenous biodiversity and crucial ecosystems of trees and animal species for the last 25 years.
The primary mission of the collaboration is to advance strategies to combat environmental degradation and promote cultural and sound sustainable rural agricultural, cultural and social practices.
Our projects use participatory approaches that engage all stakeholders to ensure sustainable rural development and livelihoods.

Nestled alongside the Osun River in Osun State, the Emerald Forest Reserve stands as a private agroforestry enclave managed by Professor Akin Abayomi, the incumbent Lagos State Health Commissioner, and his family.
